This recipe can be used for bread, rolls or even a base for cinnamon rolls.
4 cups warm water 4 tablespoon warm water
1 tablespoon salt 1 cup sugar
4 eggs 1 cup oil
7 cups whole wheat flour 7 cups all purpose flour
Combine warm water,yeast,sugar and salt. Let sit 10 minutes or until foamy, stir in eggs and oil. Stir in approximately 14 cups flour, stirring in 1 cup at a time until dough pulls away from the bowl. Turn out on to a floured surface and knead approximately 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
Place in a greased bowl. Cover with a towel and let rise until double in size. Divide into bread or rolls. Place in bread pans. Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 350 bake loaves 50-60 minutes or until golden brown or until hollow sound when you thump bread. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
Makes 4 large loaves or 2 large loaves and 24 rolls.
